Media Now Interactive (MNI), a division of DotDash Meredith provides a single point of contact for multiplatform, customized and targeted advertising. From research and strategy to implementation and analysis, MNI offers a full suite of digital products and services as well a targeted integrated opportunities to efficiently and effectively reach audiences in select markets.

 

As an Account Manager - Sales, you will be responsible for supporting Account Executives on current and prospective business/accounts. Ultimately, the Account Manager will be responsible for assisting specified account executives to exceed YOY revenue and revenue goals. The Account Manager will act as a liaison, both internally and externally, to help manage workflow and the execution of media campaigns post sale, developing/maintaining living documents that track action items, outstanding media elements, task owners, and etc. They will be responsible for helping to keep campaigns pre/post- launch organized.

In-office Expectations: This position is fully remote with no in-office requirements, (might require coming into an office 1 or 2x a year).

Essential Job Functions:

Develop/execute living documents that track pre/post campaign implementation, outstanding tagging and account management items

  • Create pre-post launch timeline for campaign execution ensuring that all Account Executives and clients understand the MNI digital operations process.

  • Assign responsibility (client, ADM’s, digital operations Team)

  • Keep track of outstanding deliverables

    • Ensure that all ad ops elements have been set up and are working properly

    • Making sure all campaign set up forms have been completed

    • Reporting schedules have been aligned with clients

    • All assets/URLs have been communicated with the team and are good for campaign launch

  • Provide updates and communicate with clients and internal team

  • For Magazine programs, ensure all paperwork has been sent/received back completed.  Keep timetable and remind clients of ad close schedules, lists submission (if application), and ensuring that all ad materials are received by ad close schedule. 

  • Work closely with AE and SDA/Marketing to ensure all necessary materials are in place for RFPs, Custom Presentations, MRFs and etc.   

  • Reviewing digital reports and communication (as needed)

Pre/Post Contract Internal Process

  • Submit RFP’s in Salesforce (when needed) in collaboration with the AE.

  • Submit Marketing Request Forms (MRFs) (when needed) in collaboration with the AE. 

  • Submit paperwork to business office, and work to create the project management documents to be communication with team/clients.

  • Close/Won opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring opportunity amount matches sold contract.

  • Submit campaign set up Form in DMM.

Meetings- Internal/External

  • Responsible for coordinating schedules for meetings based on internal/external participant availability, as well as note taking/meeting follow-ups when applicable.

  • Join key client meetings to align on project management and communicate next steps.

  • Join weekly touch base calls, leveraging DMM, with DAM’s, Ad Ops Coordinators, etc.

  • Lead project management calls when needed with clients/internal team.

QA

  • Check QA for accuracy, and send QA (includes placement summary, screenshots, and summary of pixel placement) to clients within 48 hours of campaign launch. 

  • Double check for pixels firing throughout the campaign.

  • Follow-up with internal team on items that may be incorrect relating to QA or QA delivery. 

  • Follow up on outstanding items

Main liaison with AE/Clients/Business Office for questions on billing/billing discrepancies

  • Work with business office on billing questions

Scheduling Calls

  • Kick off calls with internal/external clients.

  • Scheduling for meetings where multiple parties may be needed (leveraging tools like Outlook Scheduler/Doodle to organize schedules and send calendar invite with WebEx details).

  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in business, Communications, Marketing or related field (and/or equivalent, relevant work experience). 

Experience:

3 year minimum of Project Management/Account Management experience for a digital team.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • The ideal candidate is self-starter with a high level of initiative, organizational skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication.

  • Must be able to prioritize and work effectively and efficiently under multiple and often conflicting deadlines. 

  • The position requires someone who is proactive and able to anticipate required action, when needed, for successful resolution/result.

  • Experience in digital advertising operations and campaign management.

  • Sound strategic thinker with strong creative problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. 

  • Aptitude and dedication to thrive in a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong written skills. 

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.

  • Time management, business acumen and a strong work ethic are a must. 

  • Solid computer skills using Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce; knowledge of Nielsen, ComScore and Scarborough a plus.

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Ad Servers

  • Creative, compelling and persuasive communication style

  • Proven track record of learning new skills & products as well as thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

  • Good customer service skills and professional demeanor.

  • Self-starter who can work independently and adapt quickly to different situations.

Pay Range

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees.
