Description
Role. In this role, you are the heartbeat of the rig Commercial Insurance Team. This role is critical to delivering superior customer experiences and ensuring consistent, proactive, top-notch communication with Customers and Carrier Partners. Proactive, timely, and clear communication and responsiveness are absolutely key to this role. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Primary Duties:
• Client Service: Act as the first point of contact for business owners to answer coverage questions and process policy changes (endorsements).
• Policy Renewals: Track expiration dates, update policy information, and negotiate terms with insurance companies to keep clients protected.
• Claims Handling: Gather information from the client and help them through the claims process.
• Risk Review: Analyze a client's business to spot gaps in coverage and recommend extra protection.
• Documentation: Issue certificates of insurance (COIs) and binders.
Requirements
Skills and Responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Agency Management Systems and Microsoft Office;
- Ability to Multi-task in a face-paced environment; - Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written);
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy;
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- All employees are responsible for being familiar with and able to recognize common fraud scenarios or outright instances of fraud and reporting any reasonably suspected fraud to his/her direct manager and the AML Officer. Requirements.
- A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance setting
