Being a Account Manager, Law at iManage Means… 

As an Account Manager on our Law team at iManage, you’ll build and strengthen long-term partnerships with leading law firms who rely on our platform to manage, protect, and unlock their knowledge every day. You’ll be both a trusted advisor and strategic consultant, helping firms evolve their technology strategies while ensuring they continue to realize measurable value from their investment in iManage. 

This role is rooted in relationships. You’ll develop a deep understanding of each firm’s priorities, culture, and client-service goals, ensuring that our solutions are aligned with their evolving business and IT needs. Working cross-functionally with teams across Customer Success, Product, and Marketing, you’ll deliver a world-class customer experience while identifying opportunities for growth, expansion, and innovation. 

iM Responsible For… 

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of law firm accounts, building trusted partnerships with firm leaders, IT decision-makers, and knowledge management professionals. 
  • Developing and executing tailored account strategies that drive renewals, expansion, and long-term client success. 
  • Leading renewal and commercial discussions that balance client value and organizational growth objectives. 
  • Partnering with Customer Success Managers and Professional Services to ensure seamless adoption, retention, and continuous client engagement. 
  • Acting as a strategic advisor, understanding the unique operational and cultural dynamics of law firms to provide thoughtful recommendations and measurable outcomes. 
  • Serving as the client advocate within iManage, influencing product enhancements and innovation based on real-world feedback. 
  • Collaborating with Marketing to share client success stories, thought leadership opportunities, and firm use cases that highlight industry impact. 
  • Maintaining accurate account plans, forecasts, and pipelines within CRM tools to ensure visibility and alignment across teams. 
  • Staying informed on legal industry trends, competitive technology, and evolving market needs to guide clients with insight and confidence. 

iM Qualified Because I Have… 

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or strategic customer partnerships within B2B SaaS or professional services environments. 
  • Experience working with or selling to law firms, legal operations teams, or professional services organizations. 
  • A proven ability to grow existing accounts through proactive engagement, consultative value delivery, and strategic relationship management. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders across IT, operations, and leadership levels. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance client advocacy with business objectives. 
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce for forecasting and pipeline management. 
  • A collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Bonus Points If I Have... 

  • Experience in legal technology, document management, or professional services software. 
  • Familiarity with complex selling or account growth methodologies such as MEDDICC, SPIN, or Challenger. 
  • Experience working with channel partners, implementation teams, or resellers to enhance customer outcomes. 
  • A passion for supporting the legal industry’s transformation and helping firms modernize the way they work.

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 per year. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
