This is a remote position. For this role, our ideal candidate will be based in the West Coast region of the United States, with a strong preference for individuals to reside near major hubs in Colorado, Arizona, California, Washington, Utah, or Oregon.

Position Summary:

The Area Conveyance (ACE) is responsible for driving customer specification and preference for Regal Rexnord products in the assigned geographical territory. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for the End User customer and their preferred distributor, providing Regal Rexnord products to solve application problems and maximize uptime. This candidate may also work with, and sell directly to, certain OEM Customers to obtain specification of our products for use on their equipment. The ACE will also demonstrate the desire and ability for driving change, identifying business needs, areas of improvement and objectives through research and data-backed decision making that will empower them to make recommendations on appropriate business initiatives. This position will be Field Based and report to the Regional Sales Manager, Conveyance.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Grow Regal Rexnord’s Sales and Market Share in the Food, Beverage, and Industrial Markets
  • Develop and implement a territory coverage and growth strategy
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers, Area Account Managers, and Inside Sales to drive business growth

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Act as an advocate for customers by providing flawless communication between customer base and Regal Rexnord Sales and Product Management teams
    • Capture customer expectations and communicating them clearly to Sales and Product Management teams
    • Educate and train all customers on the features, benefits and ROI of Regal Rexnord Products and Services
    • Identify and foster new accounts, including OEM’s, end users, and integrators
    • Become a trusted technical resource for accounts
    • Successfully respond to ongoing questions and make it easy to do business with Regal Rexnord
    • Be technically proficient in the knowledge and application of all Regal Rexnord products in served markets
    • Provide support to trade shows and distributor open houses as necessary
    • Learn current market share, visibility of products in market, and educate customers
    • Employ technical sales expertise to package Regal Rexnord solutions based on overall value, performance, and lowest cost of ownership versus purchase price
    • Develop relationships with distributors as appropriate to increase sales and market share    
    • Manage time effectively for territory planning, account development, and follow-up
    • Use entrepreneurial skills in targeting the right accounts at the right time and leveraging available resources to maximize effectiveness

    Qualifications:

    • Education: BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred 
    • Experience: 5+ years in outside sales (Conveyance Sales preferred) 
    • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities 
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with employees and customers at all levels 
    • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint 
    • Location: Must reside within the West Coast sales territory and be willing to travel up to 50%.

    The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.

    Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
