What You Will Do

The Account Manager, E-Commerce will lead Chomps' e-commerce sales growth, execution and strategy for key growth channels (Thrive Market, Target DVS, Discount, Last-Mile, Emerging and All Other customers) and support existing core customer reporting (Amazon, Walmart). They will own external relationships for assigned accounts and focus on assortment, promotional planning, and forecasting planning and accuracy. With key partners, they will execute a full-funnel marketing strategy and will identify and evaluate emerging channel opportunities to diversify Chomps' e-commerce portfolio and drive continuous improvements to the e-comm P&L for these customers. 

This role will report into the Director of E-Commerce, Pure Play and will partner closely with Marketing, Business Analytics, Operations, and Finance teams to execute account-level strategy. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage key growth e-commerce accounts including Thrive Market, Target DVS, Discount (Misfits Market, Martie, Rebel), Last-Mile and Indirect (GoPuff, DashMart, iHerb, Natura Market, and others) and Emerging (Hungryroot, The Feed, Bunny James, Goody and others)
  • Own category management, assortment strategy, profitability, promotions and advertising strategy and forecasting for these accounts
  • Develop strong relationships with all key retail partners including category buyers, marketing/merchandising teams, and operations teams  
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and revenue planning for assigned accounts, partnering with the Business Analytics Team (BAT)/Finance on process and accuracy
  • Support key core e-commerce customer initiatives as needed (Amazon, Walmart) in effort to work towards maximum total e-commerce channel growth
  • Monitor and report on sales trends across all owned and supported e-commerce accounts  
  • Evaluate emerging channel sales growth opportunities as it relates to revenue and profitability
  • Build relationships with new platforms and lead retailer onboarding, including engagement, item set up, onboarding, shipment coordination and content strategy.   
  • Grow Chomps e-commerce brand placement and sales across all new platforms  
  • Drive platform innovation through ongoing identification of test opportunities across marketing tactics, technology, product offerings, content, etc.  
  • Serve as emerging marketplace and e-commerce thought leader and champion, sharing new ideas and best practices to position Chomps at the forefront of our industry segment  

Who You Are

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Sales or other similar field 
  • 5+ years of direct full time experience within the e-commerce and/or CPG industries  
  • Strong analytical and P&L management skills, with experience managing trade spend and promotional investment
  • Outstanding communication skills with a strong will for organization and follow through  
  • Ability to organize and transform raw data to interpret, story tell, and identify actionable insights from data  
  • Proven track record of increasing sales  
  • Track record of innovative strategic thinking combined with pragmatic, roll-up-the-sleeves execution and delivery
  • Strong relationship skills with ability to communicate efficiently with external key contacts as well as internal teams to drive results
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multi-project workload to meet deadlines, while ensuring a high standard of quality
  • Self-starter who is very eager to make an impact  
  • Results-focused, team-oriented, and strong work ethic
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Type: Full-Time, exempt

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 + 20% annual bonus

  • Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry.
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
  • In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
