About the role


We’re hiring an Account Manager to join our Boston or NY based team. This position will report to our Director of Account Management, and enjoy a collaborative hybrid work model, with a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) in our Boston office.


As an Account Manager, you are accountable to drive post-sale value, upsells, and net revenue growth. Serve as quarterback of long-term relationships. 


The Account Manager role works to ensure that our customers are maximizing the value they are receiving from our products and services. We believe in doing whatever it takes to make our customers successful and the Account Management team drives that success every day. As an Account Manager, you'll be managing clients that are of strategic importance. Account Managers work to drive value that leads to expansion, renewals and customer satisfaction. You will be dedicated to finding additional opportunities within current client accounts by establishing lasting relationships with key decision makers.



What you'll do

  • Maintain and grow revenue within existing accounts by identifying new sales opportunities and managing them through to conclusion 
  • Gain command of our corporate message, leverage data in our platform and identify strategic growth opportunities to help clients understand and grow their business
  • Post sale, act upon or develop expansion strategies that engage with, and create meaningful relationships with senior customer stakeholders
  • Conduct well-informed and consultative meetings with senior level executives to demonstrate the business value of our product that clearly articulates our innovative products
  • Partner with other customer team members (CSM, BDR, SE) to continually map the account, ensure success is delivered and identify and close organic expansion & upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that key accounts' needs are met & HqO understands what is needed to deliver on the needs of our Key Accounts. (Product, Marketing, Support etc)
  • Exceptional Salesforce hygiene to provide up to date and accurate ongoing forecasts. Track and report on key account performance. This includes tracking NRR, customer satisfaction, and other key Business Outcome metrics to ensure that key accounts are performing at their best.
  • Negotiate balanced renewals and expansions that profit our business while benefiting the client and manage the deal through legal negotiation

What you bring

  • 4+ years demonstrated track record of growing existing business or bringing in new business in high tech/SaaS space is a must
  • 3+ years of relevant sales/closing experience in enterprise software, SaaS or CRE consulting environment - experience selling to or within commercial real estate is plus 
  • A consistent track record of being a top 5% performer
  • Consistent and proven delivery of attaining quota targets and expert pipeline management
  • Well versed in value based solution selling
  • Passionate about forecast accuracy and dedicated follow up skills that allow nothing to fall through the cracks
  • Great presentation skills along with high confidence in engaging with decision makers
  • Powerful communication and interpersonal skills. Highly articulate via phone, email and in person is a differentiator. 
  • Adopt a positive and engaged approach to working collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners
  • Inspired by working in a constantly changing and evolving work environment where growth is non-stop
  • Ability to leverage industry networks and build a sales pipeline is essential
  • A self-starter, curious to learn and adapt quickly to shifting CRE trends
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations, design effective processes, and prioritize ruthlessly

Pay & Benefits

The compensation range below includes base salary and bonus or on-target incentive compensation, if applicable. The range reflects HqO’s reasonable, good-faith estimate of what the company expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.

Range: $179,500-$192,500

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to cash compensation, HqO employees are eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
