About the Role:

The Account Manager, Benefit Solutions is responsible for the day-to-day management and success of employer and business partnerships. Acting as the primary point of contact, this individual will ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication, problem-solving, and effective coordination across internal teams. The Account Manager will “quarterback” the needs of each customer — overseeing all account activity, ensuring timely delivery of services, and maintaining alignment between client expectations and organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in benefits administration and a solid understanding of pharmacy benefits, including claims processing and plan operations. This role requires exceptional relationship management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for employer partners, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through consistent communication and proactive issue management.

  • Understand client goals, challenges, and benefit strategies to ensure alignment with organizational solutions.

  • Oversee all aspects of account activity, including implementations, renewals, and ongoing service requests.

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across operations, clinical, IT, analytics and implementation teams to deliver timely and accurate outcomes.

  • Manage client deliverables such as performance reports, renewal materials, and plan updates.

  • Monitor account performance metrics, track key deliverables, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Support data and reporting needs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to clients and partners.

  • Anticipate client needs and provide recommendations to improve the member experience and optimize outcomes.

  • Apply knowledge of pharmacy benefit management (PBM), and claims processes to guide client discussions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues impacting the client’s members.

  • Stay informed on industry trends in benefits and pharmacy

  • Partner with the sales and leadership teams to support client renewals, expansions, and strategic planning efforts.

  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and deliver additional value to employer partners.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or client service within benefits administration, PBM, or healthcare industries.

  • Strong familiarity with pharmacy benefits, claims processing, and employee benefit programs.

  • Proven success managing multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and performance results.

  • Proficiency with CRM, reporting, and client service tools.

  • Highly responsive and client-centered.

  • Skilled at balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong internal coordination skills.

  • Proactive problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments.

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:

$96,000.00 - $154,000.00

New York Office:

$88,000.00 - $141,000.00

Santa Monica Office:

$80,000.00 - $128,000.00

Other Office Locations:

$72,000.00 - $115,000.00
