We are searching for a US-based Commercial Account Executive. The Commercial Account Executive (CAE) is responsible for acquiring new customers by closing deals primarily driven by inbound leads from multiple sources. The CAE is also expected to generate pipeline from outbound activities. This role will be responsible for owning the sales process from opportunity generation to post-sale handoff to the support and customer success teams. You will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with key individuals in target organizations and helping them understand the value that Portnox can bring to their business.

While this role is primarily remote, we do get together every so often and would prefer candidates in North Carolina or Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize a solution sales approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Prioritize opportunities and apply and manage appropriate resources
- Add net new accounts and grow existing accounts
- Track all customer details including use-case, time frames, success criteria, red flags and forecasting in Salesforce
- Meet and exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
- Self-generate pipeline opportunities through proactive relationship selling and outbound prospecting
- Manage qualified opportunities through the emtirety of the sales process
- Provide remote or in-person presentations and high-level product demos to mid-level and senior stakeholders
- Maintain a strong, in-depth understanding of Portnox solutions and network and endpoint security market
- Collaborate on new methods or strategies to help the sales team reach monthly goals for product revenue to increase company profitability
- Become a valuable and helpful resource in all interactions with customers and create a friendly reputation in the industry
- Present information about company offerings during trade shows or other large events to potential customers.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven track record of enterprise and mid-market sales experience in the networking or IT security space
- 4-6 years experience selling SAAS, especially cybersecurity or IT management
- Strong technical acumen of networking environments and IT security challenges
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
