The Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle, build relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborate with teams to enhance sales strategies.
Description
We’re looking for our first Account Executive to join us on our journey. This is a unique opportunity to build the sales foundation of our company from the ground up. You’ll work closely with our founders, and you’ll have full ownership over the sales cycle from prospecting to closing and beyond.
If you’re passionate about solving complex security challenges for enterprise customers, thrive in building relationships, and want to make a real impact in a fast-moving startup, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Own the entire sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery, through solution presentations and demos, to contract negotiation and close.
- Work with marketing to identify and target high-value accounts in the cybersecurity space.
- Partner with our security and engineering teams to deliver compelling technical demos and address complex customer requirements.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and other key decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in our CRM and provide reliable forecasting.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to refine our sales process, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
- Represent Daylight at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in the cybersecurity space.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a consultative, complex sales environment.
- Experience selling to enterprise buyers and navigating multi-stakeholder decision processes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working in a startup or small-team environment where processes are still being defined.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn about new technologies and industries.
