About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and strategic Account Executive (AE) to join our growing Sales team, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. In this role, you’ll drive HqO’s expansion by managing the full sales cycle—from sparking new conversations and cultivating strong relationships to closing deals and generating revenue growth. You’ll be instrumental in helping us achieve our sales, revenue, and market share goals, while shaping the future of our client partnerships.

This is a hybrid position based in our Boston office, with in-person collaboration at least three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).

What you'll do

  • Own the sales cycle: Manage opportunities from initial discovery through negotiation and close, ensuring a strong pipeline of new business.
  • Engage prospects: Run tailored outreach and high-impact meetings that uncover pain points, align solutions, and drive momentum toward partnership.
  • Tell the story: Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase HqO’s value proposition and directly address stakeholder needs.
  • Stay organized: Use HubSpot for accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management to ensure visibility and accountability across deals.
  • Educate the market: Act as a thought leader, introducing prospects to concepts like the Experience Gap, Real Estate Experience (REX), and Asset & Tenant Lifecycle Management.
  • Build relationships: Develop and maintain trusted client and industry relationships that fuel long-term growth, referrals, and brand presence.
  • Travel frequently to meet with potential customers and conduct in-person sales meetings

What you bring

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in full-cycle sales, account management, or a client-facing role (experience in tech or commercial real estate a plus).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), sales engagement platforms, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication; proven ability to run effective discovery, deliver compelling presentations, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Mindset: A self-starter with curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset, motivated to consistently exceed goals.
  • Collaboration: Team-oriented approach; thrives in a hybrid environment with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Industry knowledge (bonus): Interest or experience in PropTech, commercial real estate, or workplace experience solutions.

Pay & Benefits

The compensation range below includes base salary and bonus or on-target incentive compensation, if applicable. The range reflects HqO’s reasonable, good-faith estimate of what the company expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.

Range: $288,000-$320,000

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to cash compensation, HqO employees are eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
