Illumynt is also engaged in the business of wholesale distribution of technology equipment including computers, computer components and peripherals, networking and telecommunications hardware and other electronic products. We obtain supply on consignment and through direct purchase from end users, large manufacturers (OEM’s) and distributers who find themselves with excess inventory. We re-sell those products to end users, other OEM’s, distributers, resellers and brokers worldwide.

 

Position Summary:

The Account Executive (Trader) is responsible for selling Illumynt’s inventory assets in a timely manner, while obtaining the best possible prices for those assets.  The Account Executive must continually develop new customers and build strong relationships with existing customers.  A Trader must be able to clearly articulate the company’s transaction policies, grading and warranty information to their customers to complete smooth transactions.  A Trader must be self-motivated and follow up on all leads whether provided by the company or self-generated.

 

As an Account Executive, your job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·        Source and prospect potential customers to increase customer base.

·        Collect related market information and report market information to sales management.

·        Sell company stocked products to the assigned customers; get bids from customers for the products we are purchasing for potential inbound supply; ensure the customers honor their bids and close the deal on selling side.

·        Develop/build strong business relationship with customers.

·        Manage customer relationships including collecting deposits/payments from the customers on time and coordinating with the support team to take care of any applicable RMA’s and resolving any disputes that may arise.

·        Conduct sales activities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets provided by sales management.

·        Maintain current updated records of sales activity in illumynt’s CRM.

·        Assist Illumynt support organization to complete sales orders/invoicing

·        Research current technology developments for IT equipment and IT commodity markets (e.g. hard drives/storage, memory, compute) to maintain good working knowledge of Illumynt product lines.

·        Performs other duties as assigned by management.

·        Travel to certain customer and Illumynt locations as needed for customer support.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Proven work experience as a Strategic account manager or Key account manager
  • Strong sales experience in B2B environment
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and Account management systems
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills.

·        Strong executive maturity: proven ability to communicate across a highly matrixed organization

  • Availability to travel as needed
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field

Sales Skills—Achieves sales goals; overcomes objections with persuasion and persistence; initiates new contacts; maintains customer satisfaction; maintains records and promptly submits information.

 

Forecasting Skills – Keeps an accurate account of all deals in play, what is needed to close them, and where you need help
