Account Executive

You will act as a subject matter expert on the business’ various solutions and will be responsible for facilitating on-site and off-site sales demonstrations for new clients. The focus of this position is to meet or exceed new business sales targets through a variety of methods including phone activity, web-based demonstrations, office presentations, as well as attending trade shows and regional conferences. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from qualified discovery through closed business
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and account-based selling
  • Build relationships with VP and C-level executives across Operations, Security, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain
  • Run discovery meetings that surface real operational challenges and build a compelling ROI case
  • Develop account strategies for multi-site and enterprise-wide deployments
  • Deliver executive presentations and business cases
  • Manage complex buying committees and multi-threaded opportunities
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts
  • Keep your pipeline and revenue forecast accurate
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and opportunity progression
  • Work with Marketing, Account Management, and Revenue Operations to align on named-account strategy and support pipeline generation
  • Partner with the Local/SMB sales team on shared or adjacent accounts to pursue joint opportunities
  • Travel for customer meetings, site visits, conferences, and executive presentations

Required Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Proven success selling enterprise B2B SaaS, technology, or complex solutions
    • Demonstrated success closing six-figure enterprise opportunities
    • Experience managing complex sales cycles (6 to 12+ months)
    • Experience selling to VP and C-level executives
    • Strong consultative, value-based selling skills
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
    • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across large organizations
    • CRM experience (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
    • Willingness to travel throughout North America
    Preferred:
    • Experience selling into logistics, transportation, supply chain, automotive, warehousing, ports, manufacturing, or industrial operations
    • Experience selling AI, SaaS, security technology, automation, video analytics, IoT, or enterprise software
    • Experience with MEDDICC, Challenger, Command of the Message, or similar enterprise sales methodologies

Compensation Structure:

Competitive base pay + uncapped commissions. 

Location:

  • This role is remote (WFH)
  • Must be willing to travel extensively to meet with prospects in person within the advertised region (25-40%)
  • Some out of state travel will be required
  • International travel to our HQ in Toronto may be required

This role will require the candidate to complete background checks (includes but not limited to: references, educational verification, criminal check, credit check - where applicable). Certain roles may also require testing.
