Account Executive - NewBook

This position plays a critical role in driving the company's growth and expansion by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. This position focuses on cultivating relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and positioning Newbook's products and services as solutions to their business challenges. The primary objective is to generate qualified leads and contribute to the overall sales pipeline, ultimately leading to increased revenue and market share.

What you will do:

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, conferences, and market research.
  • Follow up inbound leads, converting them to opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the value proposition of Newbook's products and services. 
  • Develop and expand your sales pipeline by scheduling meetings, demonstrations, and presentations with qualified prospects. 
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients in line with Newbook’s guidelines, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Newbook's products and services, addressing customer needs and concerns.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform your sales pitch and position Newbook as a market leader 
  • Stay informed about Newbook's products, industry developments, and sales techniques to continuously improve sales effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions with the Sales force.  

What you will need: 

  • Experience: Over 5 Years in SaaS or B2B sales, with a strong foundation of a MEDDIC sales process or other certified sales methodologies.
  • Enterprise Sales: Demonstrated experience in managing long enterprise sales cycles and successfully selling to C-suite executives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective relationship-building and client communication.
  • Negotiation & Presentation: Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the capability to clearly articulate value propositions and influence decision-making.
  • Results-Oriented: A focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets with a proven track record
  • Motivation & Independence: Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and understand client needs and align them with Newbook’s solutions.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce & HubSpot is highly desirable.
  • Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Measures of success:

  • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • New client acquisition and revenue growth from new accounts.
  • Expansion of revenue for existing clients with additional properties to onboard.
  • Ability to function as a Solution Architect as needed with the current customer base.
  • Client satisfaction and positive feedback.
  • Accurate and timely sales reporting, including forecasts and pipeline updates.
  • Continuous personal and professional development in sales skills and product knowledge.
