To support our ongoing growth we're looking for an experienced Account Executive – Enterprise SaaS to help us achieve new business revenue objectives in the United States, engaging with industries in key verticals to promote and sell IntelligenceBank’s Marketing Operations Platform.  

Reporting to the SVP Growth & Partnerships, this is a hunter role and will suit an individual who can independently source and close new business opportunities.

This is a remote based role for a United States citizen, preferably located in the Mid-West, with some travel to be expected. 

Job Description

Below is a snapshot of the day to day expectations of the role:

  • Build an opportunity pipeline in order to achieve the annual sales quota.  The majority of your pipeline will need to be self-developed through networking and true business development.
  • Establish opportunities via incoming leads, and outbound activities.  
  • Provide on-site and web-based product demonstrations to prospects.  Local and national travel will be required from time to time.
  • Represent IntelligenceBank at events (including conferences, expos, tradeshows, forums and meetings) with a focus on building sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement an ongoing territory sales plan to ensure monthly quotas and KPI’s are met through building sales revenue, new business and new clients. 
  • Support and implement marketing territory marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and report on sales activity on a weekly basis.
  • Process orders, follow up and new customer handover with Customer Success Managers.
  • Maintain CRM database of all leads, opportunities and activities undertaken and report weekly.  
  • Liaise with Product Managers for new/custom product developments, timing and pricing.
  • Take proactive measures to understand the product, the industry and competitors.  

Qualifications

This is the perfect role for an experienced sales professional, who has a passion for revenue generation, the art of the sale, strategic selling and closing deals. Ideally you'll have 3+ years of experience in selling 6 and 7-figure software deals through building relationships and multi-level selling. There are certain key expectations we have for someone in this role.   • Proven history of successful enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally within regulated industries
  • Experience dealing with marketing and creative professionals
  • Adaptable and comfortable with change
  • Previous experience in a SaaS/Digital start up would be advantageous
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to easily build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
