About the Role

We are hiring a seasoned Account Executive to lead the expansion of EMMA, our AI-powered member engagement and automation platform, across the credit union market. You will own the full sales cycle, build a pipeline through outbound efforts and industry engagement, and drive the adoption of our fastest-growing product. This role is high-impact and ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy and knows how to build momentum in an emerging category.

About the Team

You will join a tight-knit, mission-driven go-to-market team focused on modernizing how credit unions serve their members. We work closely with product, marketing, customer success, and leadership to bring data-driven, member-centric solutions to market. The team values ownership, clarity, and speed, and we are looking for someone who sees opportunity where others see friction.

What You’ll Do

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Ramp on EMMA’s capabilities, value props, and positioning

  • Understand our ICP, sales motion, and deal cycles

  • Begin outbound prospecting and run your first demos

  • Build an early-stage pipeline and outline your territory strategy

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Run tailored, high-quality demos that clearly communicate EMMA’s ROI

  • Progress multiple new business opportunities across the funnel

  • Establish credibility with internal stakeholders and provide product and messaging feedback

  • Represent WithClutch at at least one industry event or trade show

Within 9 months, you will:

  • Maintain and own a healthy, self-sourced pipeline

  • Close net-new EMMA deals and forecast accurately

  • Build trusted relationships with senior credit union leaders

  • Influence GTM strategy through market insights and customer patterns

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, financial services, or credit unions

  • Strong outbound capability and a history of building pipeline from scratch

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a full-cycle role

  • Ability to influence and sell to senior decision-makers

  • Strong communication, demoing, and storytelling skills

  • High ownership mindset and comfort operating independently

  • Background selling to credit unions or banks is a strong plus

  • Interest in AI transformation and modernizing financial services

Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.

About Us

Clutch is a revolutionary vertical SaaS company, proudly backed by Andreessen Horowitz (A16z), aimed at revolutionizing the way Credit Unions engage and change the lives of their members. As a champion of financial well-being, we address the urgent need for affordable lending solutions in an era where the average American grapples with over $155,000 in household debt.  Unlike traditional financial institutions, Clutch develops software to turn credit unions into FinTech lenders and leverage their balance sheets to lend responsibly to over 130M Americans. Our mission extends beyond mere financial transactions; we strive to fundamentally enhance the way credit unions interact with their members. By integrating cutting-edge technologies and user-centric designs, we help credit unions provide seamless digital experiences that are on par with leading tech companies. This approach not only preserves but revitalizes the longstanding tradition of community and member-focused service inherent to credit unions.
A Note About AI at Clutch
We love AI. We use it often and encourage our team to creatively and effectively leverage AI tools in their work. If you join Clutch, we hope you'll bring the same enthusiasm for exploring how AI can amplify impact, productivity, and innovation.
That said, during the interview process, we want to hear your thoughts. Please approach interviews without the use of AI tools—our goal is to get to know how you think, solve problems, and communicate. Once you're in the seat, bring on the prompts!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
