Energy Capital & Power (ECP) is a leading investment platform connecting global investors with Africa’s energy sector. Through high-level events, digital content, and investment reports, ECP brings together governments, investors, and companies across the entire energy value chain—from oil and gas to renewable energy.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Account Executive – Corporate & Launch Events to help expand our newest pan-Africa focused events taking place in Europe, the US, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys building international networks.

Job Description

  • Develop new business opportunities and manage corporate client relationships across Europe, the US, & Africa.
  • Promote participation in ECP’s global energy events and investment platforms.
  • Engage senior industry professionals through outbound calls, meetings, and networking.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of outreach activity.
  • Represent ECP at industry events and client meetings across the region.
  • Track sales activity and manage accounts using CRM tools.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of corporate sales experience (B2B or event sales preferred).
  • Strong interest in global business, energy markets, and investment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Portuguese, French, Spanish, or Arabic are a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools.

Additional Information

  • This role requires approximately 40-50% travel, and can be based in Europe, the US, the Middle East or Africa.
