POSITION OVERVIEW

Indivior is seeking a Regional Account Director, Payer Access to lead payer access strategy across the Central and Midwest United States. This field-based role is responsible for maintaining, protecting, and expanding access for Indivior’s specialty portfolio across Medicaid, Commercial, and Medicare payers, spanning both the medical and pharmacy benefit.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned market access leader who partners closely with field sales and internal stakeholders to translate payer strategy into measurable pull-through, reduced access barriers, and sustainable growth across complex benefit designs.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Payer Strategy & Account Leadership

  • Lead and execute regional payer access strategies across priority Medicaid, Commercial, and Medicare accounts
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans identifying access risks, opportunities, and key decision-makers
  • Proactively address and mitigate access barriers including prior authorization, step therapy, site-of-care restrictions, specialty management programs, and medical policy limitations
  • Apply deep expertise in specialty contracting, reimbursement pathways (buy-and-bill, J-codes, specialty pharmacy), and payer utilization management
  • Partner cross-functionally to support compliant, profitable access while preserving provider and patient experience

Field Enablement & Pull-Through

  • Function as a strategic access partner to Area Sales Teams through:
    • Payer and coverage education on regional and territory calls
    • Translation of payer policy into clear, actionable messaging for field execution
    • Field rides to coach payer-informed provider discussions and access navigation
  • Develop and maintain MMIT-based access tools, payer cards, and regional playbooks, reflecting specialty benefit and site-of-care nuances
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to field leadership, aligning payer strategy with local market dynamics

Enterprise Collaboration & Market Insight

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Contracting, Channel, Finance, Medical, and Legal
  • Leverage data to assess coverage, utilization, access performance, and specialty site-of-care trends
  • Anticipate and respond to evolving payer and policy dynamics
  • Maintain an enterprise mindset with accountability for long-term value, gross-to-net optimization, and sustainable franchise growth

Relationship & Influence

  • Build and expand relationships across payer organizations
  • Clearly articulate the value and differentiation of Indivior’s products and services
  • Position Indivior as a strategic, long-term partner in patient access, care delivery, and specialty cost management

WHAT YOULL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Business, Finance, Health Economics, or related field preferred
  • 2–5+ years of payer or market access experience managing regional or national accounts
  • Demonstrated experience with specialty products billed under the medical benefit
  • Strong understanding of specialty reimbursement, contracting, and utilization management
  • Proven ability to navigate complex payer organizations and influence access outcomes
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into strategy
  • Executive-level communication and account presentation skills
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more
