The International Group Program (IGP) is part of Manulife Financial and includes a global network of top life insurance companies in about 80 countries. As part of a small and dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing policy year end reports and preparing annual reports for IGP’s Multinational Clients and their Advisors. The position involves frequent interaction with our International Network of Insurance Company Partners and internally between our departments.

The Account Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of our Client’s International Experience Reports and manages a portfolio of Clients. The role reviews Policy Year End Reports and coordinates their successful completion.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Review and complete Policy Year End Reports (PYERs) in PRISM

  • Revise PYER files (Excel or PDF) as needed

  • Prepare and finalize International Experience Reports to be sent to clients

  • Correspond with Network Partners and department members to resolve PYER concerns

  • Review and complete Business Updates in PRISM

  • Prepare and send out OARs to Network Partners for settling outstanding balances

  • Prepare and complete captive reports to be shared with the client based on deadlines

  • Train new colleagues on IGP Administration duties

  • Train and support Genpact on PYER entry and PYER delivery

  • Assists in special projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or other languages, with strong attention to detail.

  • Problem solving skills, with the ability to influence decisions and support prevention of future client issues.               

  • Proven analytical skills, with the ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a high volume environment while meeting aggressive service level expectations.

  • Collaborative teammate with the ability to work independently and contribute across business areas.

  • Typically brings postsecondary education and a basic knowledge of group insurance and pensions

  • Demonstrated passion for providing client-centric solutions

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel (spreadsheet) and database applications

  • Has an analytical and open mind with a good feeling for numbers and the ability to interpret numerical data effectively.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team player

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Adaptable and flexible in responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuations

  • Self-motivated, organized and results-oriented

If you are applying to this role in Massachusetts, please note the salary range is $46,275 - $77,125 USD. Additionally, employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.

Salary range is expected to be between

$43,875.00 CAD - $73,125.00 CAD
