If you're passionate about accessibility, education, and the transformative power of the arts, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of creative students.

As the Access Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing Berklee’s dedicated Testing Center for students with disabilities and supporting the operations of the ARS office. You'll work closely with students, faculty, and staff to ensure that Berklee’s learning environments are inclusive, equitable, and responsive to individual needs. This is a vital role on a collaborative team that believes in empowering all students to achieve their full creative and career potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Accommodated Testing Center, including exam tracking, scheduling, faculty communication, and proctoring.

  • Supervise graduate work-study staff and ensure a supportive, professional testing environment.

  • Act as liaison to faculty and staff regarding testing accommodations and protocols.

  • Support the production and distribution of alternate format materials and promote the use of assistive technology.

  • Maintain confidential records in the Accessibility Information Management (AIM) system.

  • Assist with departmental operations including email communications, data collection, and office support.

  • Help shape policies and practices that improve access for students with disabilities.

At Berklee, you’ll be part of a culture that embraces creativity, innovation, and equity—not just in the arts, but in how we work and support each other. We value work-life balance, professional development, and making space for voices from all backgrounds to thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • A deep commitment to access, equity, and student support.

  • The ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and navigate complex systems with care.

  • Experience with assistive technologies, digital accessibility, and supporting neurodiverse learners is a plus.

If you are committed to mission-driven work, enjoy being part of a collaborative and supportive team, and are excited about empowering creative students through access and equity—this is the role for you.
