About the Role
Bat Around™ is seeking an experienced 3D Artist to create stylized 3D assets for our mobile app. This is a short-term contract opportunity with a clear deliverable goal: completing all required 3D models and visual effects by the end of February. You’ll play a key role in shaping the look and feel of the game’s environment while ensuring assets are optimized for mobile performance.
Responsibilities
Design and create stylized 3D models for in-game assets such as stadiums, baseballs, and other props.
Define and execute the visual style for 3D elements within the app.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure assets are optimized for performance in a mobile environment.
(Optional, based on skillset) Develop particle effects and additional visual flourishes to enhance gameplay.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a 3D Artist, ideally in the mobile or casual gaming industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing stylized 3D modeling and texturing.
Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3DS Max.
Knowledge of 3D asset optimization techniques for mobile platforms.
Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with engineers.
Bonus: Experience with 3.js, WebGL, or similar frameworks.
