Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an experienced Numerical Control Programmer within the Fabrication Organization in Auburn Washington. The NC Programmer will provide programming expertise for multi-axis high speed machining of aluminum & hard metal aircraft components, to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • 3 or more years NC programming experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Mid-Level)

Preferred qualifications:
  • CATIA V5 NC Programming
  • Experience related to: multi-axis high speed machining of aluminum & titanium aircraft components, Machine Control Data (MCD) and new machining process development
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior Level)

Shift:
This position is for 2nd shift. Typical schedule is 12pm-8:30pm PST (this is flexible with a start time anywhere from 12-2pm)

  • Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $107,100 - $144,900
  • Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $129,200 - $174,800
