Litigation

              General Litigation

Greenberg Traurig’s Boston Litigation Practice represents clients from various industries in complex business disputes, including contract issues, business torts, securities, intellectual property, and employment matters. The team manages all stages of litigation—from early strategy through trial and appeals—in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. In addition to courtroom advocacy, the group helps clients avoid and manage legal risks, offering practical advice and training on compliance and dispute prevention. With the support of a global firm, the Boston team provides coordinated strategies for cases that cross state or national lines, giving law students exposure to a diverse range of litigation and problem-solving experiences. Law students joining this practice gain exposure to high-stakes litigation and develop skills in legal research, advocacy, and strategic case management.

              Labor & Employment

Greenberg Traurig’s Boston Labor & Employment Group advises employers—both unionized and non-union—maintaining positive employee relations and navigating labor laws to avoid disputes and litigation. The team negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements, handles grievances and arbitrations, and represents clients before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and other agencies. Additionally, the group trains management on labor law developments, provides guidance on employee benefits, and helps clients implement effective labor strategies across multiple states and countries. Law students joining this practice gain hands-on experience in labor relations and employment law, cultivating skills in negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment.

The expected pay range for this position is:

Salary is a prorated weekly amount of our first-year associate salary at $4,326 each week.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.  Additional voluntary programs include:  voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance.  Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
