The CPS Operations Intern will play a key role in supporting the Communications, Operations, and Training (COT) team, providing initiative support, data insights, and creative input that align with CPS short-and long-term priorities. This role is designed for a motivated individual who is eager to gain experience in operational strategy, project execution, and organizational effectiveness, as well as exposure to the field of physical security. The intern will contribute to projects that include incident response support, cross-regional collaboration, and enterprise-wide communication.

- This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice.
- Internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026.
- In addition to the role-based projects you'll work on, you'll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor.

The CPS Operations Intern will play a key role in supporting the Communications, Operations, and Training (COT) team, providing initiative support, data insights, and creative input that align with CPS short-and long-term priorities. This role is designed for a motivated individual who is eager to gain experience in operational strategy, project execution, and organizational effectiveness, as well as exposure to the field of physical security. The intern will contribute to projects that include incident response support, cross-regional collaboration, and enterprise-wide communication.
- Provide direct support to CPS leadership in managing COT functions across regional and enterprise-level initiatives
- Maintain project trackers and consolidate team updates
- Develop and recommend tools, templates, and process improvements to streamline CPS operations
- Ensure consistency and clarity in internal communications, helping to align messaging and timelines
- Assist in drafting PPT decks, excel reports, & SharePoint content to strengthen communication within CPS leadership and across business unit partners
- Perform light data analysis to evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable recommendations
- Build knowledge of physical security risks, both internal and external, and provide perspectives by analyzing trends, gaps, and emerging threats
Required qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
