- You're a motivated rising senior student with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a degree in one of the following areas listed below from an accredited college or university:
- Legal Studies, Business, Data, or Research related field
- This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice.
- Internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026.
- In addition to the role-based projects you'll work on, you'll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams - your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
- Learn about rules, regulations, and best practices that regard accessibility
- Work cross-functionally with Charter's accessibility team and other departments that maintain compliance programs
- Research industry standards for effective compliance programs
- Investigate systems and tools commonly used by compliance professionals for monitoring reporting compliance
Required qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2026 - May 2027
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred qualifications
- Compliance-related experience or some exposure to risk in a business context
- An interest in subject matter that is impactful to people with disabilities (direct experience is not required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, and Webex
- Comfort with learning how to use Power BI and other forms of data analytics technology
- Strong research skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of new information
- Independent decision-maker, curious, and pragmatic under pressure
- Ability to collaborate with others, oral, written, organization, problem-solving and time management skills
