About the Program:
G2's internship program provides students with an in-depth understanding of the Buy-Side, Sell-Side, and Capital Markets processes. Interns will also gain exposure to both comparative and intrinsic forms of valuation. Opportunities to regularly collaborate and forge relationships with your peer group, subject matter experts in the industry, as well as the G2 Leadership Team, are endless through your exposure to deal teamwork, manager coaching huddles, and ongoing training. You'll have an immediate impact on projects and initiatives from day one, arming you with an even more diverse background for success in your collegiate and professional career!
Program Timing: June 8th through August 14th, 2026
Location: G2 Capital Advisors Boston office. Monday-Thursday in the office, Fridays you can work remotely.
Hourly Requirement: Candidates selected for the program will be required to provide 40 hours weekly and be available between the normal business hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm EST.
What You'll Do:
Perform in-depth market research that supports G2's Buy-Side, Sell-Side, and Capital Markets business development and mandate transactions
Assist in creating comparative valuation methodologies (comparable analysis, market sizing, and precedent transactions)
Collaborate in the drafting of pitch materials and transaction marketing deliverables
Analyze M&A market trends and produce industry-specific research
Engage with G2's existing and prospective client base
What We Look For:
Currently enrolled in a 4-year academic institution with an outstanding record (3.5 GPA minimum)- Rising junior, graduating in 2027
Prior professional experience or internship in the field of finance, economics, engineering, or accounting
Demonstrated research experience and proven ability with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PPT, etc.)
Proficiency in CapIQ & Salesforce is a plus- A natural curiosity to understand how and why things work; with a drive to dig deeper and uncover the best solutions
- A strong sense of accountability and meticulous attention to detail, demonstrated by owning mistakes and seeking help when needed
- An enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated attitude; consistently approaching challenges with determination and optimism to achieve exceptional results
- A commitment to fostering collaboration by sharing knowledge, resources, ideas, and constructive feedback to build stronger teams
- A track record of acting with integrity, consistently choosing to do what’s right-even when it’s difficult or unnoticed
- Exceptional business acumen including listening, written, and oral communication skills paired with a proven ability to manage up and across diverse stakeholders
