Bain Capital Credit is a leading global credit specialist with approximately $51 billion in assets under management as of September 2024. We invest across the full spectrum of credit strategies, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, direct lending, structured products, non-performing loans, and equities. Summer Analyst Program

The Summer Analyst internship enables a highly-select group of rising seniors the opportunity to become an investor as part of a leading global investment firm. We value team players with a drive to succeed and a great sense of humor.

Summer Analysts participate in a 10-week internship based in our Boston office. Each Summer Analyst will be an essential member of a dynamic team, working alongside a diverse group of experienced leaders and talented professionals. The program commences in June 2026 with the potential for a full-time offer of employment in July 2027.

Summer Analysts are exposed to a broad set of situations and credits to systematically develop skills as a value-added investor. They develop and hone a complete financial and business analysis skill set, and build on the tools used in consulting firms to analyze industries, business strategies and competitive positions. In addition, Summer Analysts develop strong financial modeling and analytical skills and gain exposure to many areas of the public financial markets.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting company and industry research

  • Tracking relative trading values of various securities

  • Developing buy/sell/hold recommendations on companies

Qualifications:

  • Current sophomores (ALL MAJORS) with a strong academic record (cumulative GPA 3.6 or higher)

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills

  • An interest in business strategy, financial markets, and investments
