Who We Are Looking For 

Phoenix Tailings is looking for a FP&A Manager to support and execute the company’s accounting and financial operations as we scale production. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial planning, and ensuring disciplined financial execution across the business. You will work directly on the systems and processes that enable the company to operate, build, and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of financial statements
  • Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support implementation and enforcement of accounting policies and internal controls
  • Track revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures across projects and operations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
  • Build and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making
  • Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings
  • Support project-based accounting tied to plant construction and operations
  • Assist with financial reporting and materials for fundraising and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Experience with general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Experience supporting financial close processes and preparing financial statements
  • Familiarity with GAAP and basic accounting controls
  • Experience supporting audits and working with external accountants or auditors
  • Experience building or maintaining financial models for budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial  or engineering settings  

We offer a competitive compensation package that is based on expertise. We also offer the following benefits:

    This pay range reflects best estimate for the total cash compensation which includes salary + discretionary bonus for this role. Total package may vary based on experience and qualifications.
     
    Pay Range: $140,000- $190,000 total cash compensation plus equity
