Teams at West Suburban YMCA

Assists youth group leaders with supervising school-age children, facilitating developmentally appropriate activities, supporting remote learning, and maintaining safe, clean program environments. Follows YMCA and state regulations, responds to emergencies, attends training, supports inclusive practices, and builds positive relationships with children, families, and staff. May work special events and vacation programs.

Supervises school-age children in a licensed afterschool program, plans developmentally appropriate activities, supports remote learning, maintains safety and cleanliness standards, and builds positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Participates in meetings, training, special programs, and emergency response while following YMCA and state policies and supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
