Teams at Veterinary Emergency Group

Supervise veterinary nursing teams in a fast-paced emergency hospital. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring veterinary technicians and assistants, managing schedules and coverage, addressing team and customer concerns, maintaining hospital flow, leading huddles, supporting patient care, and collaborating with hospital leadership on performance and operations.

Build and improve frontend interfaces for DogByte and other internal products used by veterinary hospitals. Own projects from problem framing through production release, collaborate with Design and Product, uphold accessibility and performance standards, evolve shared components and design systems, review technical work, and contribute to backend or full-stack development as needed. Apply AI tools thoughtfully across development workflows while maintaining quality and reliability.

Lead clinical and operational strategy for one or more emergency hospitals: recruit and develop staff, provide emergency and primary veterinary care, coach leaders, monitor KPIs and P&L, manage budgets and referrals, ensure clinical standards, and supervise a large medical and management team with occasional domestic travel.
