Teams at Veterinary Emergency Group

Lead and manage the veterinary nursing team to ensure excellent emergency patient care. Oversee scheduling, payroll, hiring, onboarding, licensing, performance, training, mentorship, and team development while partnering with hospital leadership and maintaining medical standards.

Build and improve backend systems (primarily DogByte) supporting hospital workflows. Own projects end-to-end from design to production, collaborate with Product, SRE, and DevSecOps, apply AI tools thoughtfully to developer workflows, and review cross-team work to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Lead clinical and operational strategy for one or more emergency hospitals: recruit and develop staff, provide emergency and primary veterinary care, coach leaders, monitor KPIs and P&L, manage budgets and referrals, ensure clinical standards, and supervise a large medical and management team with occasional domestic travel.
