Manages a hardware engineering team responsible for developing robot subsystems from concept through design, prototyping, testing, release, and manufacturing. The role includes hiring and mentoring engineers, leading design reviews and decisions, coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, field service, software, and research teams, and ensuring electromechanical products are successfully shipped and supported in production.

Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable software platforms supporting machine learning, robotics, and company operations. Own technical direction across backend services, infrastructure, internal tools, data systems, and customer-facing applications. Collaborate with robotics, hardware, and operations teams, make pragmatic architectural decisions in ambiguous environments, and build high-leverage systems that improve organizational effectiveness.

Lead the design and implementation of critical robotics software spanning motion planning, real-time control, perception, optimization, tooling, and robot infrastructure. The role owns complex systems, shapes technical direction, mentors engineers, and works across embedded systems and cloud services. Preferred experience includes Python, ROS, robotics frameworks, manipulation, motion planning, perception, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, hardware-software integration, real-time systems, and production robotics deployments.
