Generates and closes new and repeat business for environmental services. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, networking, managing leads in the CRM, attending industry events, building long-term client relationships, and meeting regional sales targets. The role requires selling to life sciences, healthcare, higher education, and advanced manufacturing organizations while applying environmental compliance knowledge, including RCRA and OSHA regulations, and consultative Sandler Sales techniques.

Maintains the general ledger and manages month-end close, journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, variance analysis, fixed assets, revenue recognition, WIP/accruals, and acquisition integration. Partners with accounting leadership and operational managers on forecasts, financial reviews, and financial models. The role is fully onsite initially, then hybrid, and requires strong Excel, accounting, and data-analysis skills.

Creates and reviews accurate, timely client invoices; manages purchase orders, pricing, customer price schedules, and billing setup. Coordinates with sales, account management, technical services, and project administration teams to develop pricing and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes. Provides administrative support, including filing, scanning, copying, and phone coverage. The role is onsite in Somerville, Massachusetts, and requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, Microsoft Office proficiency, reliable transportation, and U.S. work authorization without future sponsorship.
