Administer local historic districts and demolition review, prepare Commission hearing materials, conduct site visits and significance evaluations, maintain CLG records, provide technical assistance, support grants and public education, and serve as staff liaison to the Preservation Commission to guide preservation and alternatives to demolition.

Lead and manage daily maintenance and long-term care of municipal parks, fields, playgrounds, cemeteries, and public landscapes. Supervise staff and contractors, oversee budgets, procurement, safety, asset/work order systems, emergency response (including snow/ice), and public engagement to ensure safe, sustainable park assets.

Plan and lead adult programming and community outreach while providing reference services including collection development, readers advisory, research support, and technology assistance. Build partnerships, reach new audiences, and design meaningful experiences for adult patrons.
