Build and operate full-stack trader-facing and internal applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and AWS. Own features from technical design through production, focusing on reliability, scalability, security, observability, testing, and safe deployment. Collaborate with Product and Design, guide architecture, mentor engineers, participate in on-call support, and resolve production issues. Work with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, databases, payments, and identity services.

Build and ship Topstep’s mobile trading MVP using React Native and TypeScript for iOS and Android. Own features from design through release, establish reusable architecture and components, integrate GraphQL and real-time data, optimize performance and reliability, write tests, support production, and mentor engineers. Collaborate cross-functionally to create accessible, responsive mobile experiences for high-volume trading activity.

Lead and develop a software engineering team responsible for customer-facing products, payments, onboarding, internal tools, and production systems. Set technical direction, guide architecture, manage reliability and incident response, oversee delivery planning, and partner with Product, Design, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders. The role includes hiring, coaching, performance management, capacity planning, operational excellence, and accountability for system quality, availability, performance, and delivery outcomes.
