Provides multi-unit nursing leadership and operational support to the Chief Nursing Officer. Oversees nursing practice, patient-care quality and safety, clinical staff competency, resource management, and implementation and evaluation of nursing services. The role carries 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas and requires collaboration, advocacy, communication, and hospital leadership expertise.

Performs specialized hemodynamic monitoring and assists physicians during cardiac procedures in a cath lab. Maintains equipment quality control, cleans and packages instruments for sterilization, supports emergency procedures, and may serve as monitor tech. Works with adolescent to geriatric patients and completes required competencies.

Provide expanded clinical experience for senior nursing students by assisting RNs with patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation on med-surg/telemetry units. Report significant observations to Registered Nurses and participate in multidisciplinary team care.
