The Actuary will influence product strategy in the Employee Benefits division, preparing financial statements, analyzing results, and presenting insights to leadership while ensuring data accuracy and quality.

Serve as subject-matter expert for Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) and related statutory leave compliance. Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations; perform risk assessments, compliance testing, and control remediation; develop policies, training, and customer-facing materials; support audits, regulatory exams, SERFF filings, and cross-functional implementation of compliant leave programs.

Build, enhance, and own AXIS actuarial models for Individual Annuities supporting VM-22 valuation. Drive methodology decisions, model governance, and runtime optimization. Partner with valuation, pricing, FP&A, ALM, and investments to align assumptions and outputs. Analyze results, mentor teammates, and stay current on VM-22 regulatory developments to ensure scalable, validated modeling frameworks.

Lead and mature enterprise corporate governance operations and framework. Advise senior leadership and the board, oversee board/committee materials and subsidiary governance, ensure regulatory compliance, drive process improvements and technology use, and lead a team of corporate governance professionals.

Lead and coach a team of sales analysts supporting producers and customers to drive sales execution, profitability, and strong client relationships. Oversee reporting, forecasting, workload management, training, and quality control for proposals, plan designs, and sold-case transitions to meet financial and service goals.

Serve as a finance business partner to LAD and senior leaders, driving financial management programs, complex financial models, strategic analysis, and operational efficiency initiatives. Influence decision-making, mentor junior analysts, and translate business goals into actionable financial objectives to optimize resources and business outcomes.
