Teams at South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC)

Provide nutrition care and counseling to WIC applicants and participants, perform assessments and data entry, assist in education material development and staff training, participate in quality assurance, outreach, and community communication, travel among multiple sites, and maintain program compliance and confidentiality.

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for school-age children, maintain a safe healthy learning environment, observe and document progress, engage families, comply with EEC/NAEYC/QRIS standards, supervise children, and participate in staff development and required trainings.

Support classroom team to plan and implement developmentally appropriate experiences for children, ensuring safety and family involvement, and maintaining a positive environment.
