The role requires cybersecurity experience, operating systems and networking knowledge, federal security certifications, vulnerability management tools, and an active Secret clearance. This is a remote, contingent position supporting the Department of Education.

Develop and maintain customized ServiceNow solutions, including advanced scripts, business rules, client scripts, and App Engine applications. Support legacy data migration, conduct testing, ensure data integrity, and troubleshoot implementation issues. The role requires strong JavaScript skills, ServiceNow certifications, Agile/Scrum experience, collaboration, independent work, U.S. citizenship, and an active security clearance with eligibility for DHS Public Trust.

Leads red team and penetration testing engagements across Federal Student Aid systems, overseeing planning, execution, reporting, tool maintenance, and testing environments. Ensures compliance with NIST SP 800-115, MITRE ATT&CK, and DHS RVA standards. Mentors junior testers, evaluates testing tools, and supports network, application, AWS cloud, and API testing in complex environments.
