Handle routine and complex physical damage subrogation claims: determine liability, negotiate with other carriers, assess coverage and prior payments, prepare settlement offers, document correspondence, and prepare files for arbitration or attorneys while managing a high caseload.

Manage a personal lines underwriting unit: supervise staff, review new and renewal underwriting referrals, develop workflows and audits, monitor profitability, retention and loss ratio, coordinate with Director on budget and vendor relationships, and support cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and CRM.

Receive classroom training and mentoring to learn property & casualty claims handling. Manage customer service interactions with insureds, third parties, and agents from claim intake through final resolution, develop policy and system knowledge, and advance within adjusting career paths.
