The VP of Sales will lead Roo’s revenue organization and integrated sales strategy across hospitals and veterinary providers. Responsibilities include designing territories and coverage models, forecasting, quota management, hiring, enablement, coaching, pipeline quality, CRM and GTM systems, capacity planning, automation, compensation transformations, and cross-functional alignment with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data.

Build and lead Roo’s Revenue Operations function, evolving HubSpot administration into a strategic revenue partner for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support. Own the operating model, GTM systems, forecasting, pipeline governance, capacity planning, lead management, conversion optimization, compensation mechanics, and AI-enabled operational improvements. Hire and develop a lean team while partnering with Finance, Data, and revenue leaders to improve efficiency, predictability, and growth.

Build and maintain scalable full-stack features for Roo’s veterinary staffing marketplace across its React Native mobile app and backend services. Collaborate with product, design, data, and engineering teams; contribute to architecture, testing, code reviews, mentoring, observability, production support, deployments, and platform reliability. The role requires a builder mindset and ownership of features from design through delivery.

Lead and build Roo's first Revenue Operations function: operate and govern HubSpot, design GTM systems and operating model, drive forecasting, pipeline hygiene, capacity planning, lead management, and apply AI to reduce toil. Hire and mentor a small RevOps team while partnering with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Finance, and Data to increase revenue efficiency and predictability.

Design, build, and maintain full-stack features for a veterinary marketplace. Work across React Native mobile and backend services (Node/Express), write tests (Jest, Cypress), resolve production issues, improve observability, partner on CI/CD and deployments, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architecture and scalability.

Lead and scale Roo's revenue organization across both sides of the veterinary marketplace. Own revenue strategy, GTM playbooks, territory design, forecasting, hiring/coaching, CRM and tooling, QA loops, and cross-functional alignment to drive hospital and provider activation, retention, and unit-economics-driven growth.

Own and execute product work for Roo's labor marketplace: ship features using AI-assisted prototyping, define roadmap and PRDs, run research and experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and marketing to drive measurable outcomes.

Provide frontline support to veterinarians, hospitals, and technicians via email, LiveChat, and phone. Troubleshoot first-line issues, escalate when needed, document tickets in HubSpot, coordinate with Finance/BD/Data for reconciliations, and work rotating early/late shifts and weekend coverage.
