Teams at Raft

Build and architect fault-tolerant, large-scale real-time data platforms and streaming applications for DoD customers. Responsibilities include developing Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams infrastructure; creating ETL pipelines; managing relational and non-relational databases; applying software architecture patterns; and supporting cloud-native deployments. The role also involves technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and contributing to high-performance systems processing over one billion events daily.

Lead technical design and execution for an AI/ML mission platform: drive architecture decisions, lead major engineering epics, simplify distributed systems, optimize edge and cloud performance, mentor engineers, integrate ML models and inference pipelines, and represent technical capabilities to DoD stakeholders.

Design, build, and operate secure, production-grade Kubernetes/Docker clusters and CI/CD/GitOps pipelines for a real-time, data-intensive DoD platform. Work with streaming tech (Kafka/Pinot/Flink), IaC, monitoring/logging, and cloud infrastructure to enable millisecond-latency event processing and operational decisioning.
