Teams at Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn

Plan and execute up to 15 annual donor, VIP, stakeholder, and sponsored events from concept through follow-up. Responsibilities include coordinating programs, speakers, vendors, catering, logistics, communications, volunteers, budgets, finances, sponsorship solicitation, and cross-departmental support. The role prepares event briefings and attendee biographies for senior leaders and trustees while cultivating corporate sponsors and supporting donor engagement.

Manage a portfolio of 100-125 major gift prospects, execute 120-150 donor visits and 20-30 solicitations annually, develop personalized cultivation and stewardship strategies, prepare briefing materials, use prospect research and analytics, and collaborate with leadership and trustees to meet fundraising goals.

Leads public and private walking tours, educational programs, and visitor engagement activities at Mount Auburn Cemetery. Conducts historical and cultural research, develops accessible interpretive content, answers visitor questions, supports Welcome Center and Gift Shop operations, and assists with events and volunteers. The role requires strong public speaking, writing, research, visitor-service, collaboration, and outdoor-walking skills, with availability for occasional weekends and evenings.
