Own usage-based revenue accounting, including journal entries, deferrals, recognition schedules, reconciliations, collections, month-end and year-end close. Manage accounts receivable, support annual audits, maintain revenue controls, integrate the billing ledger with Campfire, and automate accounting processes. Collaborate with finance, billing engineering, revenue operations, sales, and customers to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.

Own sales enablement for a developer-focused product by creating positioning, competitive intelligence, objection handling, customer stories, battlecards, talk tracks, FAQs, and training. Translate product marketing work into sales-ready materials, fill positioning gaps, extract insights from customer conversations, and continuously update public handbook playbooks. Collaborate with Sales, product marketers, engineers, customers, and partners while communicating effectively with technical audiences.

Own product discovery and commercial outcomes across PostHog products. Analyze growth, retention, churn, revenue, and usage data; conduct user interviews; research competitors; identify pricing, packaging, and product opportunities; provide product feedback; and coach product engineers. The role emphasizes autonomy, product sense, SQL-based analysis, customer research, and commercial judgment rather than backlog management, project delivery, or feature development.

Own products and features end to end, from user research and ideation through MVP launches, iteration, pricing, and ongoing success. Build full-stack experiences, collaborate with design, support customers, resolve production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and write documentation. The role emphasizes autonomous product development, agent-facing software, AI-native products, and rapid shipping.

Operate and scale PostHog’s large ClickHouse clusters, including provisioning, infrastructure automation, node and instance performance optimization, hardware evaluation, and query performance tooling. Build systems using Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Python, AWS, and ZooKeeper to manage more than 100 PB of data and support trillions of annual events.

Own technical relationships for 25–40 mid-to-large customers, ensure retention and growth by troubleshooting issues, advising on configuration, managing escalations, handling commercial renewals, and feeding product feedback to internal teams.
