Leads architecture and development for ultrasound imaging software platforms. Defines scalable solutions, makes cross-product architecture decisions, guides technical trade-offs, and aligns software, product, DevOps, compliance, security, suppliers, and external partners. The role applies expertise in systems design, software architecture, imaging algorithms, signal processing, high-frequency wave behavior, healthcare standards, and regulatory requirements while planning platform direction six to twelve months ahead.

Serves as the primary legal advisor for the BioTel business, supporting sales, contracting, compliance, privacy, intellectual property, regulatory matters, M&A, and new business models. Drafts and negotiates commercial, healthcare, procurement, payor, service, and research agreements; manages legal risks and outside counsel; delivers compliance training; and partners with cross-functional stakeholders. Requires independent counsel, strategic planning, policy development, and potential oversight of legal staff.

Leads the long-range architecture vision and technology roadmap for Philips ultrasound imaging platforms. Owns system-level architecture across hardware, software, imaging, transducers, and clinical requirements; governs major technical trade-offs from concept through launch; directs modeling, prototyping, integration, verification, validation, and risk reduction; and influences senior leaders, suppliers, and technology partners while mentoring architects and senior engineers.

Leads small ultrasound imaging innovation and design projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Supports broader innovation initiatives, gathers customer feedback, coordinates cross-functional teams, and develops customer-focused solutions. Requires at least two years of innovation, project, or program management experience and a relevant engineering or computer science bachelor’s degree. This is an office-based role near Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Plans and schedules end-to-end production by developing MPS, DPS, and MRP plans aligned with capacity and operating commitments.
