Mechanical Engineering Intern supporting sustainable building design projects through CAD and Revit drafting, energy modeling, design calculations, HVAC and plumbing layouts, construction administration, commissioning, site observations, specifications, cost estimates, and energy and water data analysis. The 10–12 week paid internship provides hands-on experience with multidisciplinary engineering teams and sustainable building systems.

Supports the design, modeling, documentation, and simulation of mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy modeling. Develops proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, TRACE, and IES; performs mechanical calculations, system layouts, plan reading, and construction administration support. Works under experienced project leads while learning building codes, industry standards, and practical engineering applications.

Supports electrical engineering teams with the design, modeling, documentation, and code-compliance analysis of power distribution, lighting, and technology systems for buildings. Responsibilities include electrical load calculations, load-flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash modeling using EasyPower, plan reading, and developing proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD under experienced mentorship.
