Develop mechanical designs for opto-electronic devices using CREO and AutoCAD. Perform thermal, thermo-mechanical, and mechanical FEA in ANSYS, conduct FMEAs and tolerance analyses, and manage part revisions. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and vendors to validate specifications, improve manufacturability, and address complex engineering challenges in an in-person telecommunications technology environment.

Provides discreet executive protection for senior leadership across corporate, residential, travel, and public settings. Responsibilities include threat assessment, reconnaissance, advance planning, secure mobility, travel security, residential security, vendor coordination, emergency response, evacuation support, risk documentation, and incident reporting. Requires frequent international and domestic travel, strong situational awareness, defensive driving, first aid, surveillance detection, communication skills, and a Texas Level III commissioned security officer license or willingness to obtain one.

Assembles and modifies test cabinets, fixtures, electrical and optical subassemblies, and related production equipment. Performs wiring, soldering, PCB repair, optical fusion splicing, troubleshooting, fabrication, maintenance, and service installation activities. Reads and marks up technical drawings, communicates with engineering, locates components, follows safety and ESD practices, and handles physical tasks including lifting and positioning test systems.
