Join Nextdoor's machine learning team to build data-intensive products, develop ML models, analyze datasets, and enhance user experiences. Collaborate closely with product and data science teams.

Own end-to-end product design for key consumer product areas across iOS, Android, mobile web, and desktop web. Create production-ready designs, manage design progress, represent design in planning, apply design-system components, deliver engineering specifications, test on real devices, and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers. The role also requires strong stakeholder management, customer empathy, AI-assisted design-tool fluency, and participation in company events and culture-building activities.

Lead consumer product design craft and manage 5–6 designers while remaining hands-on. Run critiques, establish growth plans, oversee design capacity across seven product areas, guide design-system decisions, represent design with executives, and ship high-impact product experiences. The role requires strong UX/product design judgment, research synthesis, people management, and AI-assisted design fluency.
