Own end-to-end product design for key consumer product areas across iOS, Android, mobile web, and desktop web. Create production-ready designs, manage design progress, represent design in planning, apply design-system components, deliver engineering specifications, test on real devices, and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers. The role also requires strong stakeholder management, customer empathy, AI-assisted design-tool fluency, and participation in company events and culture-building activities.

Lead consumer product design craft and manage 5–6 designers while remaining hands-on. Own the end-to-end rebuild of Nextdoor’s consumer search experience, including query understanding, retrieval, ranking, result quality, organic and sponsored content blending, and monetization. Define search relevance metrics, partner with engineering, data science, ML, research, design, and marketing teams, and use A/B testing to improve engagement and revenue while protecting user experience.
