The Director of Finance leads accounting, grant billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, financial reporting, audits, tax returns, cash management, and internal controls. This role oversees Sage Intacct systems, ensures compliance with nonprofit, federal, and state regulations, manages government grant and contract audits, analyzes budget variances, and supervises a team of finance professionals. The position partners with executives, auditors, legal counsel, bankers, and other stakeholders to safeguard organizational assets and support financial decision-making.

Provides clinical case management and supportive counseling to homeless Veterans with mental health and substance use disorders. Maintains caseloads, completes assessments and service plans, coordinates housing and community referrals, manages crises, facilitates rehabilitative activities, documents services, and collaborates with clinical, operations, and VA staff. Uses low-threshold, housing-first, harm-reduction, motivational interviewing, relapse-prevention, and trauma-informed approaches.

Manages day-to-day operations for a 24/7 veteran services center. Supervises frontline and contracted security staff, oversees schedules, staffing coverage, performance management, documentation, reporting, access control, incident response, security contract compliance, onboarding, and workflow improvements. Maintains operational records and coordinates with leadership and other departments while ensuring policies, safety procedures, and service standards are followed.
