Provides behavioral health care in an outpatient substance use recovery program. Responsibilities include patient assessment, individualized treatment planning, individual, group, and family counseling, crisis response, care coordination, clinical documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality improvement. Uses evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Stages of Change to support patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Coordinates cancer care access research projects, including patient recruitment and consent, participant enrollment, interviews, surveys, chart reviews, meeting logistics, database maintenance, data quality checks, basic statistical analysis, literature reviews, manuscript and grant support, and IRB submissions. The role requires protecting confidential study data and collaborating with patients, clinicians, researchers, and community health centers.

The EDI & Payment Poster processes and posts payments from various sources, verifies and researches account information, and ensures proper filing of supplemental claims.
