Lead CFD and physics-based simulation for bioreactor scale-up, scale-down, mixing, gassing, and other biologics process operations. Define engineering equivalence criteria, validate models against experimental data, guide CMC decisions, and extend modeling to harvest, filtration, TFF, crystallization, and reactor mixing. Mentor junior scientists, establish simulation standards, and shape the organization’s modeling roadmap across development and manufacturing scales.

Leads mechanistic modeling and numerical simulation for downstream biologics processes, especially preparative chromatography. Builds, calibrates, validates, and applies models to optimize resin selection, gradients, loading, cycle design, filtration, robustness, and scale-up. Partners with process scientists and engineers, designs calibration experiments, communicates model uncertainty, mentors junior scientists, and establishes modeling standards and roadmaps. Preferred experience includes Python, machine learning, adjacent unit-operation modeling, high-throughput chromatography, PAT data, and continuous downstream processing.

Lead DMPK strategy for peptide and protein therapeutics across discovery and early development. Design and interpret in vitro/in vivo ADME, PK and PK/PD studies, contribute to translational and quantitative pharmacology, and represent PDMB on cross-functional teams supporting immunology and oncology programs.

Leads late-stage clinical development for MASH and obesity-related medicines, including trial strategy, design, execution, monitoring, analysis, regulatory reporting, and publication. Evaluates preclinical and translational research, supports IND applications and business development, collaborates with cross-functional teams and external investigators, and communicates scientific findings. Requires an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., clinical medicine experience, drug development or biomedical research experience, and demonstrated success overseeing clinical studies.
